On poetry
a few of David’s poems and art from the last few weeks. . .
Nothing can separate us
Birth
Death
What we’ve done
Who we shall become
Mountains
Valleys
Governments
Borders
Heavens
Hells
Created things
Human beings
Language
Race
Failure
Success
Wealth
Health
Failing
Ailing
Flailing
Catch and release
Everything
Nothing
Breath
Silence
After all
Love.
Your Waterfalls
No rock is hard enough
To resist your water
Flowing
Carving
A path directly through
My heart of stone
Deep calls to deep
In the thunder of your waterfalls
You need nothing but eternity;
To break over me
Dislodge and baptize me
Day and night
You wash me
Inside out
Not until I am clean,
But until I am yours.

Beautiful.
Thank you for shrinking the ocean and blessing me with these lovely poems and the wise words about screen time. I thank God for you and your team doing His work in the neediest place you could find.
Love and prayers, Phyllis
