Triplets

Posted on Jul 7, 2017 by in Uncategorized | 2 comments

We recently had full-term triplets born at Kijabe.

I have photographed lots of events, but this has to be one of the most special. . .while I am taking pictures, in my head I am saying “wow, wow, wow,” over and over again.  It’s impossible not to pray – “let them cry, let them breathe, let mom recover well.”  All was perfect!

Here are the pictures:

Our Serge teammate Rodger Barnette supervises the anesthesia team as they give an epidural.   OB team prays before starting the c-section.

Arianna peeks in the theatre door.  She will be waiting at the resuscitation room just down the hall within the operating theatre complex.

Hello world!   Third baby comes out happy and crying.   C. O. Deborah happy to catch a baby girl, carries her to the resuscitation room.

Arianna looks after the little ones to make sure they are breathing well before transferring them to the newborn nursery.

Big babies – 5 1/2, 6, and 6 1/2 lbs – baby girl is the largest!   Madeline helps the family carry the babies to the car to return home.  They were super-excited to have a picture with her, and she looooves little ones, so it was fun for her to meet them.
