Annabelle’s 7th birthday party: Pixie Hollow
Today was Annabelle’s birthday party.
With the help of our friends Gabi and Stephanie, the saw from Papa and the energy from the sugar served as party food, we brought a bit of Pixie Hollow to Kijabe
The amazing thing about the table is the conglomeration of gifts and memories. Every special food on the table was from a care package – from the marshmallows, to the pink lemonade, to the chocolate fudge. I used my teapot from Taiwan and my pitchers from Kitengela. I had flashbacks to Madeline’s fairy party 4 years ago and all that has changed since then.
We made fairy houses from the stone and wood and flowers and twigs in our yard. We used balloons from the duka, roses from the Stephen, the flower guy, and grass and ferns from our front yard. And as always, I added a little bit of pixie dust (the iridescent glitter that tends to find its way into everything I plan.)
So, here you have it. . .pixie hollow and my precious 7 year old with her friends. . .
marshmallows from Nana rolled in sprinkles
homemade cake with buttercream icing 🙂
Thank you so everyone who had a hand in making this possible!
